History

Rainbow Dreams Academy is a public charter school sponsored by the Clark County School District and committed to providing our students a strong educational foundation. The Academy officially opened its doors on August 27, 2007, with 52 students in full-day kindergarten, first, and second grades. On February 4, 2008, we moved from a temporary location into our newly constructed, 13,028 square foot, state-of-the-art facility. Rainbow Dreams Academy is a project of

The Foundation , a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing educational opportunities for young people with a desire to be successful.

Mission

Our mission is to educate and prepare our students to challenge their intellect, maximize their talents, respect themselves and others, and take pride in their heritage in a nurturing learning community.

Philosophy

Rainbow Dreams Academy believes in the importance of developing the whole child, attending to their physical, social, cultural, cognitive, and emotional needs. With parents as our partners, we endeavor to help students establish a love for learning that will last a lifetime.
